Surya Shakti

Surya Shakti

HATHA YOGA OF SADHGURU

Surya Shakti can be understood as an accelerated expression of the ancient Sun Salutation known as Surya Kriya, though the distinction runs deeper. While both practices originate from Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga teachings, the increased pace and precise refinements shift the experience from meditative depth toward dynamic strength and stamina. It becomes the link that unites the stillness of Surya Kriya with embodied power.
Taught by Srimanta in Paris, Brittany, and across France, the practice uses the body to realign the system without making it the final center of attention. Flexibility and strength arise naturally from the movement itself. Thanks to the fluidity and speed of Surya Shakti, the body’s fibers are engaged, generating an inner strengthening that reaches closer to the bones than the surface. This develops energy and dynamism as a foundation, establishing the body as an ideal support for subtler levels.
This practice is the perfect bridge between Surya Kriya and Angamardana.

TEACHER'S INSIGHT

It is essential to have learned Surya Kriya before hand, for it lays the ground from which deeper alignment can unfold—within the body and within oneself.
The steady rhythm of Surya Shakti then becomes a pillar of support, something you can lean on when the storms of life arise. Its cycles move swiftly, carried by the grace of each movement, yet their impact on the body and on daily life is profound and unmistakably real.

I also offer " Corrective Classes" for those who wish to return for correction sessions to improve and go deeper.

Attending a correction session means discovering new aspects of the practice, improving your technique to generate more benefits and impact, and clarifying doubts or potential deviations from the instructions—which can greatly influence the results. It's also a chance to resume a practice you may have set aside and to reconnect with a group of participants motivated to explore a similar path
