Surya Shakti

Yogic Fitness

We could say that Surya Shakti is an accelerated version of Surya Kriya. That would be true, but not entirely, even though both originate from the Isha Yoga of Sadhguru. This acceleration of movement, along with specific differences, shifts the practice from meditativeness to dynamism. It becomes the root that combines the depth of Surya Kriya with the strength and power of Surya Shakti.

While we use the body to realign our system, the goal is not necessarily to make the body the main focus, since flexibility and strength naturally arise from the practice itself. Yet, through the flow and speed of Surya Shakti, the “wires” of the body are called into action, generating power from within — closer to the bone than to the surface. This develops energy and dynamism as a foundation, establishing the body as the right support for further, subtler layers.

It is also the perfect bridge between Surya Kriya and Angamardana.

TEACHER'S INSIGHT

It is essential to have learned Surya Kriya beforehand, for it lays the ground from which deeper alignment can unfold—within the body and within oneself.

The steady rhythm of Surya Shakti then becomes a pillar of support, something you can lean on when the storms of life arise. Its cycles move swiftly, carried by the grace of each movement, yet their impact on the body and on daily life is profound and unmistakably real.

I also offer "Corrective Classes" for those who wish to return for correction sessions to improve and go deeper.

Attending a correction session means discovering new aspects of the practice, improving your technique to generate more benefits and impact, and clarifying doubts or potential deviations from the instructions—which can greatly influence the results. It’s also a chance to resume a practice you may have set aside and to reconnect with a group of participants motivated to explore a similar path
